Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also known as Ashanti, was born on October 13, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American songwriter, singer and actor. Ashanti is a teen singer-songwriter and actress from the United States was signed by Murder Inc. Records to make a record in 2002. She appeared in fat Joe's What's Luv? song that was released the following year. song and Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both of them turned into huge smashes. On October 16 Hey Baby (After the Club) was released on radio stations as well as digital channels. She was in the film Christmas in the City and played Latasha Montclair on Army Wives. Aitch played Rock wit U in his Baby 10th March 2022 song.
